The Fields at Trace Fork represents an opportunity for corporate sponsorship that is unique in the Kanawha Valley. This project addresses a critical need for the area's youth; while offering high visibility among a growing percentage of the Kanawha Valley's families.
THF Realty donated the land that comprises the Friends of Coal-Fields at Trace Fork to the Kanawha-Charleston Soccer Foundation, who owns and operates the facility. In addition, Ralph Ballard of Asset Management Group and Andrew Jordon of Pritchard Mining donated the equipment and labor that was needed to complete the rough grading of the complex (an estimated $1 million contribution!!).

The Friends of Coal-Fields at Trace Fork once complete will be West Virginia’s premier soccer complex. Located along Corridor G, in one of the fastest growing retail and commercial areas of the Kanawha Valley, the complex will provide an ideal setting for recreational activities, as well as shopping, dining and lodging. Situated on 36 acres, it will contain a total of six fields, four of which are already complete. Parking is shared with the South Charleston Memorial Ice Arena that is adjacent to the soccer complex. In addition to the fields, there will be additional picnic shelters, restrooms, and storage facilities.
